What we do & How we do it
Establishing Conservative Working Budgets:
Using a variety of proven business models we are able to determine appropriate advertising levels for your business. Some of those methods we use include:
Sales Ratio Method- Advertising budget based on sales history, your businesses particular seasonal curve, and industry recomended levels of advertising as a percent of gross sales. That means, you are neither over spent or underspent, for the entire year or particluar seasons. We analyze yearly sales history, looking for peak seasons, peak weeks, and peak sales days. This is essential in properly timing the schedule of your advertising. Which means your advertising is in front of consumers when they are most likely to take action and purpose.
Task Based Budgeting - Budgeting based on a projected or desired sales volume. Often used to plan advertising for a new business with no sales history.
Media Planning:
Analyze the media to assure compatibility with your target demographic (age, gender, income). Analyze each medias rates based on costs per thousand against your primary and then secondary demographic targets. We select media based on historical performance with your demographic target which means no wasted dollars in media that are outside your primary market area or outside your demographic target.
Campaign Development:
Creative Strategy: Campaigns are developed and written to be psycho-euphoric with your target demo. We also consider the media that we will be using for the campaign so that the campaign is enhanced with that media. Whether it be conventinal or in the new social media.
Media Strategy: Advertising is placed with the media that will return the greatest reach, greatest frequency, and the lowest cost per thousand for your target demo. The goal is maximum reach and maximum cost efficency.
Public Relations Strategy: Essential in shaping your percieved public image. We make sure that community/primary marketing area is constantly informed and updated about your company. Public Relations is used to enhance your favorablitlity perception among your potential customers.
Defining Marketing Objective:
All advertising must be goal oriented, the idea of just getting your "name" out there is woefully inadequate in today's market place. That's why we work with you to determine specific marketing goals that the businesswants to attain. Those goals are your strategic marketing objectives. Marketing objectives allow us to construct a strategy to obtain an accomplish those goals. Marketing objectives are prioritized according to the needs of the business. Marketing objectives allow us to fine tune the creative to assure that your advertising message is compelling, focused, and easily under stood by consumers.
Advertising Management:
Your advertising is managed by one firm. No more endless parade of media reps interrupting your business day, with their endless spewing of bad advice based on their media's agenda and not neccesarilly your best interest. All of your advertising, for all media, is coordinated by one firm, ensuring consistency across all media platforms. This enchances your "brand" helps build a unique selling propsition in the market, and helps you establish your image consistently across all media platforms.
Advocacy:
Business owner and media rep is by nature a somewhat adversarial relationship. The media rep has his quota to fill for his employer, and necessarily they their employers (media) agenda. In that process real information and facts are often filtered through a distorted lens. The business owner rarely gets accurate or helpful information. As your advertising and marketing consultants we are your advocate. That means your agenda becomes our agenda. We sift through the media hype and buzz sheets and their inflated claims or viewer ship and readership and bring to the table, information from the most respected third party providers in advertising and media.
